Swif.ai now provides enhanced visibility and actionable notifications to help you identify and remediate cases where offboarded employees still have access to third-party applications. This feature is designed to help organizations reduce security risks associated with residual access after employee departure.
Key Features
1. Automatic Detection of Residual Access
Swif.ai continuously monitors for ex-employees who retain access to applications through:
Azure SSO
Google SSO
API-managed integrations
Browser extension tracking
If a user’s Swif account is disabled but they still have access to any connected app, they are flagged for review.
2. Prominent Alerts and Notifications
Offboarded employees with active app access are highlighted at the top of the Shadow IT User list.
A red status dot appears on the "By user" icon for quick identification.
In-app alerts notify admins, specifying how many days ago the user was offboarded and how many apps remain accessible.
A "Review Access" button allows for immediate investigation.
3. Quick Remediation with "Revoke All"
Admins can instantly revoke all app access for ex-employees using the new "Revoke all" action.
Supported integrations (Azure, Google, API-managed) are automatically deprovisioned.
For apps that do not support auto-deprovisioning (e.g., admin-managed), manual action is still required.
4. Login Attempt Monitoring
Swif.ai tracks and displays recent login attempts by ex-employees, providing additional context for risk assessment.
5. Enhanced User Interface
Warning indicators and attention boxes highlight users requiring action.
Multiple affected employees are highlighted in the table for easy review.
The warning attention box can be dismissed once all issues are resolved.
6. Clear Terminology and Status
The term "Residual" is used to indicate remaining app access for offboarded employees.
"INACTIVE" status means the employee still has active app access.
"DEACTIVATED" status means the employee has no active app access.
