Here’s a guide to automatically install any Chrome extensions on your company devices.
Please note that to deploy the Swif's own Browser Extension, you can visit Deploy Swif Chrome Extension Organization-Wide.
Follow these steps
1. Find the extension page
Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for the extension you want to install.
2. Find the extension ID
Click on the URL and copy the extension ID.
3. Create New Policy
Go to your Swif Admin portal > Policy management > Create new policy.
4. Create a Google Chrome extension policy and deploy
Scroll down and find any Google Chrome extension policy > Click Configure.
After editing the policy name and description > click Continue.
Add the extension ID and press enter to confirm > Click Continue.
Select the devices/device groups where the Chrome extension will be installed > Click Continue.
Review the policy, click on cancel to go back and edit, and if everything looks good, click Finish.
Swif will automatically install the extension on the selected devices.
Restart Chrome on the devices for changes to be recorded.
