The Swif App Store simplifies software deployment, allowing you to quickly install and manage trusted applications on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices directly from the Swif console.


Benefits of Using the Swif App Store

  • Auto-Patching: Swif automatically provides the latest versions of apps—no manual uploads or updates required.

  • Centralized Control: Easily monitor, deploy, and remove applications across your organization.


Accessing and Installing Apps

  1. Log into the Swif Console.

  2. Navigate to the App Store at Device Management > Applications.

  3. Browse or search for your desired app.

  4. Select the app and click Install.

  5. Choose the target device(s) or device group(s), confirm, and deploy.

Swif handles the installation silently wherever possible.


Blocking Apps from Installation

To prevent an app from being installed (but not from running if already installed):

  1. Open the Swif App Store at Device Management > Applications.

  2. Click on the app you'd like to block.

  3. Select Manage Blocklist and specify the devices or groups to prevent the app installation.

Installing Custom Software

For software not listed in the Swif App Store, refer to:

Custom software can also be added to the blocklist after being uploaded.


Tracking Software Installation

  • Check installation status by navigating to Device Page > Applications > All Installed Applications.

  • Review logs in the Swif console at Device Page > Commands for installation details or troubleshooting.


Removing Applications

  1. Navigate to Applications and filter by Installed Apps. Click Apply to view.

  2. Select the app you wish to uninstall.

  3. Click on uninstall from devices or groups.

Do I need to manually upload new app versions?

No. Swif automatically patches apps from the App Store to the latest available versions.

Can I restrict certain apps from installation?

Yes. Use Manage Blocklist in the Swif App Store to control which apps can be installed.
