Enroll with Swif's installer on a device with an AD domain user

Updated this week

You can enroll a Windows device in Swif even when the signed-in user is an AD domain user. The enrollment flow is the same as a local user install.

Enroll the device

  1. Download the Swif Windows installer from the Swif dashboard (or from the enrollment invite email).

  2. Run the .msix installer and complete the enrollment prompts.

Verify enrollment

After installation finishes, confirm the device is enrolled:

  1. Open SettingsAccountsAccess work or school.

  2. You should see the work/school connection created by Swif.

Verify the Swif app is installed

  1. Open SettingsAppsInstalled apps (or Apps & features depending on Windows version).

  2. Search for Swif and confirm it’s installed.

If it fails: make sure the installer was run with admin permissions and that endpoint security/AV isn’t blocking the install.
