Discover the power of the new Swif Chrome extension. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough on how to install, use, and manage the extension to capture applications and detect user leads.
Installing the Swif Chrome Extension
Step 1: Navigate to the left side menu and select the Chrome extension under access management.
Step 2: Add the Chrome extension to your browser and wait for the installation to complete.
Using the Swif Chrome Extension
Step 3: Navigate to the application you want to capture. For this guide, we're using 'Deel' as an example.
Step 4: At the people screen of 'Deel', use the Chrome extension to capture the people list.
Step 5: Open the extension. It'll automatically detect the new domain. Review it, add it as a custom app, and click save.
Capturing User Access
Step 6: Start capturing the list of user access from 'Deal'. The capturing process is based on the image capturing, using Swif IQ to process the data. This might take some time.
Step 7: After processing, review the detected new accounts and user information before publishing access for these users.
Step 8: Select all captured user access and save. Wait for the saving process to complete.
Managing User Access
Step 9: After saving, the list of user accesses will be added to your Swif access management.
Step 10: Recapture to import more user accesses to Swif if needed. Note that existing user accesses in Swif will be skipped during the recapturing.
Step 11: Review the captured information before adding them to your Swif access management. Update the role of specific users before publishing access for them if necessary.
Step 12: After public access is complete, new user access will be added to your access management.
Step 13: Manage all your user access per application in the Applications tab and review user access per user from the Users tab with Activate and Deactivate options.
And that's it! You're now equipped to use the Swif Chrome extension effectively.
