Swif’s new export function allows admins to generate detailed reports of computers, phones, and accessories from the inventory table. You can apply filters to customize the report based on your specific needs and export the data in a CSV format. Additionally, you can share reports via email or Slack and set up scheduled exports.
How to Export Device Report
Navigate to the Inventory table (Computers or Smartphones) and click the Export button to open the Report Export dialog.
Under Additional Device Data, enable the Extension Attribute option.
A picker will appear listing all available extension attributes for your organization. Select one or more attributes to include in the export.
Click Download to generate the report.
Apply Filters
Navigate to the Inventory Table in the Swif Admin Dashboard.
Use the filters to refine your view. Available filters include:
Device Status
Assigned To
Lock Status (new filter)
Enrollment Status
Security Status
Operating System (OS)
Ownership
The report will reflect the selected filters when exported.
Supported Device Categories
Attributes are supported for both Computers (Laptops, Desktops) and Smartphones (Phones, Tablets) exports.
Export Data
Once the desired filters are applied, click the Export button.
A CSV file will be downloaded containing the current view of the inventory table.
What to Expect in the Export
CSV and PDF: Filtered columns are included in both CSV and PDF exports.
Column headers: Each column is labeled with the attribute's name (e.g., "Disk Size", "Asset Tag").
Devices with values: The column displays the value stored for that device.
Devices without values: If a device does not have a value saved for the attribute, the column will display the attribute's default value (if one is configured) or remain empty.
Multiple attributes: You can select as many attributes as needed — all will appear as separate columns.
Saving Your Configuration
Your attribute selections are saved as part of your report configuration:
When you reopen the Report Export dialog, your previously selected attributes will still be checked.
You can update your selections at any time — the new configuration replaces the old one.
If you deselect all attributes, the export reverts to the standard report without extra columns.
Fields Included in the Export
The exported CSV file contains the following fields, organized into categories:
1. Include Additional Device Info
Account:
Account Username
Account Permission
Policies
Security Compliance
2. Device Info
Device Type
Device Serial
Device Status
Assigned To
Enrollment Status
Enrolled Date
Security Status

3. Extension Attributes
You can include custom extension attributes as additional columns in your device inventory export. This is useful for tracking organization-specific data — such as Financial Asset Tag IDs, disk sizes, or any other custom attribute you've configured — alongside standard device fields.
Sharing Reports
After generating a report, you can share it directly from the Swif Admin Dashboard.
Scheduled reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) will include the extension attribute columns based on your saved configuration.
Email delivery: Downloaded reports from email will include extension attribute columns.
Slack delivery: Reports sent to Slack will include extension attribute columns.
Scheduled Reports
You can schedule reports to be generated and shared automatically at regular intervals:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
