This guide outlines the process of enrolling a Linux device into Swif using commands. To install via GUI installer, you can visit this article instead.

Step 1: Navigate to the desktop app downloading center and select the Linux option.

Step 2: Copy the command that appears for installation.

Step 3: Open the terminal and paste the copied command into the device.

Step 4: Enter your first and last name for the installation.

Step 5: If you're marking your device as "bring your own device", fill in the secret code. If not, remove this parameter from the commands.

Step 6: Start the installation. The installer will download onto your device.

Step 7: When prompted, enter the admin password. After entering the password, the installation will proceed.

Step 8: Wait for the process to finish. The installation might take a while, so make sure your system isn't interrupted or shut down during this time.

Upon completion, a message will pop up indicating that the enrollment is successful.

Step 9: Verify the enrollment by checking your device in the Swif Portal. Navigate to the device inventory, and your device should show as enrolled in the Swif portal.

This wraps up the process of enrolling a Linux device into Swif via command.
