How to Allowlist a File Flagged by Coro Endpoint Security

Updated this week

If a file or application is incorrectly flagged as malicious by the Coro Agent, you can add it to an allowlist to prevent it from being blocked in the future. This is especially useful if you are certain the file is safe and required for your operations, such as during the installation or update of trusted software.

Steps to Allowlist a File in Coro Endpoint Security

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel

    • Access the Coro management interface and log in with your administrator credentials.

  2. Go to Endpoint Security

    • In the Control Panel, locate the section labeled Endpoint Security. This is where you manage security settings for endpoints protected by Coro.

  3. Find the Detection and Allowlist the File

    • Review the recent detections or flagged items.

    • Locate the specific file or folder that was incorrectly flagged.

    • Add the file or folder to the allowlist (sometimes called an "exclusion list") to ensure it is not blocked or flagged in the future.

Note: Only allowlist files you are certain are safe. If you are unsure, consult with your IT or security team before proceeding.
