Overview
The Swif app for ChatGPT connects ChatGPT to your Swif tenant. Once it's connected, you can ask ChatGPT about your organization's devices, employees, teams, and the apps and browser extensions installed across your fleet, in plain language. ChatGPT answers with live data from Swif.
It works with the Macs, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android devices you manage in Swif. Chromebook support is coming soon.
This app is designed for IT and security teams that manage their devices with Swif.
Important: The app can't change, lock, or wipe devices, or delete employees. For your organization's safety, the app can only read device data, and its only changes are adding an employee or moving one to another team. ChatGPT makes those changes only when you ask, and only after confirming the details with you. Only your organization's data is visible.

Sharing with ChatGPT
When Swif is connected, ChatGPT may share relevant chats and memories with the Swif app to help with your requests. Swif's use of this data follows the Swif Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can manage your preferences, or disconnect the app, at any time in ChatGPT's settings.
Switch to another Swif tenant
If you manage more than one Swif tenant, such as an MSP:
Disconnect Swif in ChatGPT's settings.
Connect again, and paste the other tenant's API key.
ChatGPT then shows only the new tenant's data.
Disconnect Swif
Disconnect Swif in ChatGPT's settings. ChatGPT can no longer access your Swif data.
To stop all access immediately, you can also revoke the API key in the Swif admin console.
Advanced: add Swif with developer mode
Most users should install Swif from the ChatGPT app listing, as above. If your workspace uses developer mode to add apps manually, use the server for your Swif region:

In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
Select Create. Enter the name
Swifand the server URL, choose OAuth for authentication, and select Create.A Swif page opens. Paste your Swif API key, and select Continue.
Troubleshooting
The Swif page rejects my API key
Check that you copied the whole key, and that it hasn't been revoked in the Swif admin console. Create a new key if needed.
ChatGPT doesn't use Swif to answer
Select Swif from the + menu, or mention @Swif in your message.
ChatGPT can't find a team
Use the team's exact name, and check it in the Swif console.
ChatGPT doesn't show a device's compliance status
The app doesn't include Swif's official compliance verdict yet. ChatGPT can describe the device's encryption, antivirus, and password manager status. Check the official status in the Swif console.
ChatGPT asked me to confirm before adding an employee
This is expected. ChatGPT confirms the details before it makes any change in Swif.
A device setting or lock request doesn't work
This is expected. For your organization's safety, the app can't change, lock, or wipe devices. Use the Swif console instead.
