How These Policies Work

Swif.ai’s Android MDM policies integrate directly with the Google Android Management API, ensuring that every device is configured according to enterprise security and compliance standards.

  • Policies are applied automatically during enrollment.

  • Any deviation from enforced policy settings triggers a non-compliance alert in the Swif dashboard.

  • Admins can modify or remove policies anytime from the Android Policy Management section in the console.

Requirements

  • Devices must be enrolled through Android Enterprise (Device Owner or Work Profile mode).

  • Minimum OS version: Android 9 (Pie) or later.

  • Active network connection is required for policy enforcement and updates.

Coming Soon

Swif.ai is continuously expanding Android policy coverage. Upcoming policies may include:

  • Network Policy: Manage Wi-Fi, VPN, and hotspot configurations.

  • App Policy: Whitelist or blacklist apps, and enforce managed configurations.

  • Device Restrictions Policy: Control hardware access (camera, Bluetooth, screen capture, etc.).

  • Combine Android policies with Swif.ai’s Compliance Monitoring to automatically track and report device security posture across all operating systems — Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux — in one unified dashboard.
